Details for Infinity Island
This is an example of how the island would look if it was a simple oval shape.
Man-made islands are not built far out from the shore, so that they suffer less from stormy weather, and supplies and medical care can be accessed.
The island will have a breakwater around it approxiamately 50 metres from the edge. This will be made of rock with sand on the top. It will suitable for some small homes for people who wish to be very isolated, and do not mind not having a garden or beach area.
The 94 houses that are residential can house a minimum of 376 people, the houses are very large, families will have a whole house. Single people will have a house split into apartments or purpose built for their needs. Either way a minimum of 376 will be residential.
The 94 holiday homes will also accomodate a minimum of 376, but could hold many more as some families are happy to have an apartment for a two week stay. It would be their choice, and up to their budget on the accomodation that they chose.
The holidays would be sold strictly for 2 weeks running saturday to saturday, so that no bookings would be missed as demand is expected to be very high. It will also enable staff that check the holiday homes to have a routine.
